Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
